Web design · Technical SEO · AI search — Dubai & the Gulf

It looks fine.It’s doing nothing.

I’m Kuraib Ali. I design, build and rank websites for Gulf companies that need the site to bring in business — design, engineering, search and growth as one job, with one person answerable for the result.

Four ways it usually goes wrong

You have probably said one of these to me already.

01

We’ve paid three agencies and had one strategy. It died in the handoffs.

What is actually happening

A brand studio hands to a dev shop, who hands to an SEO vendor, who argues with the design for a month. Every seam leaks, and you pay for the translation.

What I do about it

One person owns the argument from the first workshop to the last deploy. There is nothing to hand off.

02

Traffic that never turns into pipeline. Or pipeline nobody can find.

What is actually happening

Design and search were bought separately, so the pages that rank are not the pages that convert — and the pages that convert are invisible.

What I do about it

The site architecture is the search architecture. Every page that exists has a reason and a reader.

03

The last redesign was a new coat of paint on the same argument.

What is actually happening

Nobody asked what the business is actually claiming before deciding what it should look like. The interface changed; the belief it needed to shift did not.

What I do about it

I will tell you if what you need is a strategy, not a website — before you have spent a build budget confirming it.

04

Every change needs a developer, so nothing changes.

What is actually happening

The site was built as a set of pages instead of a system, so marketing waits in a ticket queue for a headline.

What I do about it

I build platforms the marketing team can operate. A campaign ships the day it is approved.

Diagnose it

What is actually wrong with your website?

Pick everything that sounds familiar. I will tell you what it usually means and which kind of engagement fits — the same thing I would say on a first call.

Symptoms — choose any

Nothing picked yet

If none of these sound like you, your website is probably fine — and I would rather tell you that than sell you a redesign.

Choose one or more on the left. The read changes as you go.

Problems that were never really design problems.

02E-commerce / beauty · UAE

UAE skincare brand (confidential)Reasonable CPM. Reasonable CTR. Return on ad spend stuck below 2× for eleven months.

A UAE e-commerce brand had run Meta Ads for eleven months with a campaign structure that looked fine from the surface.

03Healthcare / aesthetics · Dubai

Dubai aesthetics clinic (confidential)Good cost per lead. Poor bookings. The clinic thought it needed more leads.

A Dubai aesthetics clinic was generating 120 to 150 leads a month from Meta Ads at a reasonable AED 68 each, and booking fewer than one in five.

Performance-marketing engagements from earlier in the practice, kept because the numbers are real: every figure is platform-reported, never modelled. The plates are drawn, not photographed — the artefact is the argument.

Want to know what these figures would look like for your site?

Send me your URL and the one thing that is not working. I reply the same day with what I would fix first, in what order, and whether I am the right person for it — including “not me”.

The thesis

Most websites depreciate. I build the ones that compound.

A campaign site peaks the day it launches and loses value every day after. A compounding site does the opposite — more of the right pages, more authority, more conversion, more evidence, every quarter.

The difference is not the design. It is whether strategy, design, engineering, search and growth were one decision or four vendors.

01Strategy

What is this company actually selling, and to whom?

02Design

What does this have to feel like in order to be believed?

03Engineering

What has to be true for this to stay fast, findable and durable?

04Search

Which questions should this company own?

05Conversion

Where is qualified intent leaking out?

06Growth

What did we learn, and what does it change upstream?
